PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE 2008
Below is a small selection
of images from the recent partial solar eclipse-7-2-08, taken with a portable
EQ6 system on my patio.
It was too windy to open main dome.

Scope is William Optics
Megrez 90 APO fitted with an aluminised solar filter that I made in 1966.
Taken with a Nikon D300 digital SLR at prime focus 1/250th second exposure.
Computer control of telescope mount and camera. A total of 81 images
taken at 2-minute intervals, missed around 12-minutes due to cloud cover.
