This photo
is of an aurora that occurred between 1:30am and 4:00am on the 17th
of January, 2005. The photo was taken on 200 ISO film, with approx.
one minute exposure.
The aurora started as a glow, which spread a long way through the south-east
and
south-west and upwards to approximately 40/45 degrees above the horizon
at
times.

photo of Comet NEAT was taken around 10 pm
on April 28, 2004. The bright star at top right is Canopus
and you can make out the comet at bottom left.
