28 November, Saturday NOTE CHANGE OF DATE – Walk - Mt Fortescue. We will follow the new Three Capes track south to the Cape Pillar turnoff, then turn right along the tops of the cliffs towards Mt. Fortescue. Hopefully the flowers will still be worthwhile, even some of the unusual orchids which grow there. Spectacular scenery is guaranteed! Meet at Fortescue Bay at 9.30am. 2 December, Wednesday, 12.00pm – Kingborough Day Meeting – Norma Ali’s home, 58 Flowerpot Crescent Blackmans Bay. Christmas meeting. Bring a plate to share. BYO.

4 December, Saturday, 1:30pm - Propagation - Kingston Primary School - setting seeds and cuttings, potting on, watering testing.

13 December, Sunday, 12.00 for 12.30pm – Christmas Lunch – Ferntree Community Centre. Bring a plate to share and make an edible Australian Plant display, BYO.

3 February, Wednesday, 2.00pm - Kingborough Day Meeting - Centacare Meeting Room Balmoral Rd Kingston Beach - discussion on gardens surviving summer.

6 February, Saturday, 1.30pm – Propagation - Kingston Primary School - Potting up and on.

10 February, Wednesday, 7.30pm - General Meeting - UTAS Plant Sciences Lecture Theatre No. 1 - Climate change science up-date especially after Paris Climate Meeting - Christine Corbett.

2 March, Wednesday, 2.00pm - Kingborough Day Meeting - Centacare Meeting Room Balmoral Rd Kingston Beach - afternoon tea and flowers then move on to Dru Point for an excursion.

Hobart Group meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month (except January and December) at 7.30 p.m. in Lecture Theatre 1, Life Sciences Building, University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay.  All welcome.

Kingborough day meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month (except January and December) at 2.00 p.m. in the Centacare Rooms, Balmoral Road, Kingston.    All welcome.
